Inspiration with Mikaela Hållén

How would you describe your personal style? ?



Minimalistic with a twist. I keep things simple but add small, unexpected details like cutouts, asymmetrical lines, statement accessories, or contrasting materials. 

What inspires you in your work? 

I find so much inspiration on Instagram, Pinterest and similar platforms. Right now, I’m especially inspired by female creative directors, many of them mothers, like Chemena Kamali, Olympia Gayot, and, of course, FILIPPA K’s Anna Teurnell. 

What were your favorite FILIPPA K pieces to wear during this project? 

I’m obsessed with the Asymmetric Body (I’ve really missed the Soft Sport pieces). And the Eva Draped Trousers – I'm so in love with the side stripe detailing. 

Where are you dreaming of traveling next? 

I wouldn’t mind spending some slow days by the beach in Spain with my family. I’m having a major craving for paella and tapas right now.

Do you remember the first FILIPPA K piece you ever owned/wore? 

I’ve owned many FILIPPA K pieces throughout my life, and what I love is how they tend to stay with me through every closet clean-out. Some memorable ones are a deep-neck swimsuit, Soft Sport knits from years back, and a few timeless denim pieces. 

What is your favourite way to reset or unwind after a busy week? 

Spending time at our family’s country house - cold swims, long walks around the island, having no musts or places to be, cooking my favourite meals, and simply being with my family.
