How would you describe your personal style?

I think of it more as a language than a style. It’s quite restrained, but not minimal in a cold way. I like structure, but also something slightly undone. It’s usually about balance. 

What inspires you in your work?

Mostly things outside of fashion. Or within myself. I tend to work quite instinctively, so inspiration is less about finding something and more about recognising something when it appears. Thoughts, questions, being a woman, or becoming one. Film, books, architecture, conversations. I’m interested in where ideas come from and how they move through time and culture. 

What’s one wardrobe staple you can’t live without?

A coat. It changes everything. It’s easy to put on and carries most of the look for the day...but also shapes how you move and feel - and think. 

What are your three styling tips for spring?



Spring for me is about excitement - and being hopelessly joyous. Take off a layer, add something that flows. Anything that makes you move lightly. A trench usually does that trick for me. And always carry a knit around your neck or in your bag. It’s quintessential - for a Scandi, at least.

What do you love most about living in Copenhagen?

The sense of ease. There’s a practicality to the way people live and dress that I find very grounding. Things don’t feel overly forced, and that leaves space for something more personal to come through. I grew up here, it’s truly my place that I cannot wait to return to, whenever I’ve been abroad.
