How would you describe your style as summer turns into autumn?

It gets more layered without feeling heavy. I don't do a hard seasonal switch. I just start subtracting colour and adding structure. Linen gives way to wool, but the silhouette stays the same. That's the whole point of dressing in uniform: the shape doesn't change with the weather, the material does.

What does "back to routine" look like for you this time of year as an entrepreneur, content creator, and mother?

You know, summer allows for play, for later mornings, looser plans. But autumn doesn't. It's all about getting back into my work rhythm. My routine tightens around the same non-negotiables: the work that needs a clear head has my priority, everything reactive happens after. Getting dressed is part of that discipline, not separate from it. I make sure I do my pilates exercises and I'm fully focused. When I'm back in my mother role I borrow what summer taught me: to be playful again, letting things go and go with the family flow. I'm a big fan of contrast: in life and in outfits. 

What's your approach to layering as the weather shifts this time of year?



Layer for temperature, not for effect. I'm a big fan of nonchalance when it comes to dressing myself. That's a Scandinavian instinct as much as it's mine, you dress for a climate that changes on you during the day, so every piece has to earn its place on its own, not just as part of a look. I build from a clean base outward: nothing bulky touching the skin, structure on the outside. The moment layering starts looking like a concept - a staged gathering of clothes - I take something off. I'm a maximal minimalist. 

Is there a ritual that helps you shift into autumn mode?

I clear the wardrobe before I add anything to it. Everything that didn't get worn over summer goes, all the high summer pieces need to go as well. The silky dresses stay. I like to pair those with a knit on top. I just lock myself in my room and work on my closet for a whole day. Restructure, curate, eliminate. I love those sessions. It feels like therapy. What doesn't feel good goes to storage. It's also vice versa, in storage I find amazing pieces that perhaps didn't work the season before and suddenly it makes sense again. That's what I love about a timeless closet. You reinvent what you have over time and the clothes are still there and in good shape. 

What were your favourite pieces to wear from the AW26 pre-collection, and how are you styling them for the season ahead?



My favorite piece is the suit without a doubt. I love suits because they are so easy to slide on and you directly have impact. Plus you can wear them as separates, so I always say ‘buy a suit and get three for the price of one’. I love the way the sleeves are cut in the blazer giving it extra je ne sais quoi. And the colour is amazing, not brown nor green or gray - it's the perfect tone for post-summer glow and suitable for blonde and brown hair. 



What's one wardrobe piece you find yourself reaching for again and again this time of year?

A wool coat, cut close, no embellishment, at least two sizes up. It's the piece I've never once regretted buying. I feel extremely feminine in a boyish silhouette, in something I can hide. That's the only real test of a good garment, not whether it photographs well once, but whether it's still the first thing you reach for five years in.

If you had to describe Filippa K in a sentence, what would you say?

Filippa K is what happens when Swedish heritage meets real craftsmanship.
