THE GLEN TEE: A TIMELESS TECHNIQUE
Made using organic cotton, this modern wardrobe staple was knit together on the Swedish west coast using a 19th century technique. The classic short-sleeved style has a signature breathability and light weight, with a subtle classic striped pattern and contrasting collar.
THE FACTORY
Ljungskile Knitting is a small mill on the west coast of Sweden that began in the 1940s. In 2014, Olle Wong and Pernilla Toll discovered machinery that was used during the first years of production. Rather than disposing of them, they decided to restore the machines and recreate vintage knit structures that have been forgotten with the modernisation of garment technology.

THE TECHNIQUE
The Lahmann technique was developed in the 19th century. It’s named after the German Dr. Lahmann, who believed that allowing air to move freely through high quality cotton benefitted the wearer’s mental health and wellbeing. The innovation came alongside a larger movement to reform Victorian ways of uncomfortable dressing, and has been revived by the team at Ljungskile Knitting today.

Although the health benefits aren’t scientifically proven, we’re certain that the Glen Tee provides a good feeling and truly timeless look.
