Filippa K’s updated Oslo store reflects the house’s evolving identity, taking inspiration from Scandinavian heritage and nature. Light wood creates a calm foundation for the store, punctuated by refined stainless steel, mirrored surfaces and soft shearling textures. Installations, artwork and objects add a subtle element of surprise to the space, with a flower concept by Stockholm-based Club Yvonne and a commissioned glass cherry by Gunilla Kihlgren.
The store is situated in a historic Oslo building from 1896 by architect Ivar Cock, combining Romanesque and Jugendstil influences. The ornate entrance combines natural stone and wrought iron details, and the windows are connected by fine carvings. In 1976 the building was listed on the Heritage Protection Yellow List by the City Archaeologist, prioritising the preservation of its historical and architectural value.
