How would you describe your personal style? 



Simple, boyish with a feminine touch, and spontaneous, Living in Stockholm, where my son was born, has definitely influenced my style. The Nordic approach to design mirrors how I see life: intentional, clean, uncluttered.  

What inspires you in your work? 

I really appreciate a well dressed woman on the street. Instagram has turned style into something that feels too predictable. I rather look at real people because you can see their personality by the way someone moves. You can dress up nice, but in the end it’s about how you are. I love that.  

What were your favourite Filippa K pieces to wear during this project?



There's something about how FILIPPA K understands drape and weight that just feels right. The soft wool knits became a second skin. But there’s no other brand that understands the perfect trouser fit like FILIPPA K. The Darcey I’m wearing is a real wardrobe hero and goes well with everything. I really like this color, between green and brown. That's Scandinavian design at its finest: functional beauty that enhances life rather than complicates it.

What do you love about your neighbourhood?



I live in the north of the Netherlands, overlooking a big lake. It feels a bit like Stockholm in a way. Here in the Dutch countryside, there's space between things: between houses, between thoughts. I can step outside and be among trees within moments, which feeds that Scandinavian pull I feel toward nature. There's a quality of light here, especially in the long summer evenings, that reminds me of Nordic summers.  

Do you have a style icon?

I'm more inspired by approaches than individuals. There's a warmth beneath minimalism that people often miss. That's the aesthetic I aspire to: beauty that invites you in rather than keeps you at a distance. But if I had to pick an icon, it would be Julia Roberts in the ‘90s. 

Where are you dreaming of travelling next?

I'm always pulled back to Stockholm. I want my son to grow up knowing the place where he was born. I dream of slow travel, the kind where you stay in one place long enough to find the local tea shop, to walk the same path multiple times, the get friends with the restaurant you love so much.  

Do you remember the first Filippa K piece you ever owned/wore?

The Alexa Coat. I’ve had this coat for as long as I can remember and it’s still beautiful. I will probably pass it on to my daughter.
