WHAT WE WEAR
Here at Filippa K, we’re readying our wardrobes for the winter months.
Find out what we look for in our warmest pieces, and how we’re spending the season.

I long for comfort more than anything these days. The Alexa Coat is warm, soft, and elegant. These are the things I look for in a winter coat – something that just makes me feel good and has warm, deep pockets!
The Corinne Vest is a perfect piece to layer with, and it’s also so practical. Worn with simple pieces (like the Alaina Top and Kimberley Trouser) it’s an outfit that’s cosy and also elegant, which to me is perfect right now.
During winter I like to be outside a lot. It’s a Norwegian cliché, but I love cross-country skiing.
I believe in a coat that works just as well with a dressed-up look in the city as it does with casual wear in the countryside. In conclusion, a stylish coat that keeps me warm like the Kaya Coat in black.
This season I’ll be supporting local Stockholm businesses for my favourite things during the winter – a vegan croissant, a glass of wine, and cosy bed linens for my home.

When I’m deciding on a new winter coat, it’s important that I find something with a classic style and good fit that I can wear with more or less everything else in my wardrobe.
I like the tailored straight fit of the Rhine Coat, which makes it versatile. It also has a heavy wool melton fabric that’s warm, and it’s completely recycled. The Walter Hoodie is comfortable and looks good as a casual balance to the tailored coat. The Samson Wool Trouser works well because of its relaxed fit, and the Morgan Sneaker is an easy shoe to wear with almost anything.
I’m looking forward to cross-country skiing, it’s my favourite thing to do during winter.

I love to wear the Janet Trouser with its beautiful ecru colour and defined waist, the crisp Sammy Shirt: a luxurious version of the boyfriend shirt, and the Lina Sweater in navy for a relaxed layer that can also be worn on shoulders, if you're into that sort of thing.
When it comes to a winter coat I will prioritise warmth over style, always. I’ve had an Alexa Coat for three years now – it has quality that lasts and a timeless look. I prefer to size up so I can layer underneath it through autumn into winter.
I really don’t like the cold (which doesn't match what’s expected of a true Finn), so winters are all about staying warm: visiting a good sauna, cosying up by the fireplace, and last winter I started hot yoga & hot pool gymnastics!
For the colder seasons, I like a classic coat that can be worn both casual and for dressed-up occasions – like the Barnsbury Coat in navy. I also love to wear boots during the winter season, so the Krisha Laced Boot is perfect.
Knitted polo sweaters are also a favourite, so the Molly Roll-Neck Sweater over a simple outfit like the Sammy Shirt and Franca Trouser works perfectly for me. This look is comfortable while still feeling a bit dressed up.
I love having dinner with family and friends during winter – it’s something that lightens up the dark days.
Warmth and fit are the most important things to think about with winter outerwear. I like to feel comfortable so in the end I always tend to choose oversized garments.
The Athens Coat is perfect for me. Since it’s made in a double face cashmere, it’s thin but very warm so it’s easy to wear on top of other things. The Harrod Sweater is very cosy and with the collar zipped up I’m warm around the neck without feeling constricted. William, our regular fit suit trouser, works well with everything. The John Lace Up Boot is a classic that’s comfortable to wear, so it’s an easy choice.
During winter I like to stay inside and watch television series, or play games with friends. Last year my wife and I got quite into jigsaw puzzles, which are perfect for when it’s cold outside.
