As those of you who have been following the Untitled by project know, we have had an ongoing art project with artist Igor Zimmermann where Igor has interpreted the essence of Filippa K in the making of a short-film. The film is now ready and as a sneak preview, have a look at some of the behind the scenes images below!

Igor Zimmermann - making of the light

In one of the sequences in the film we are creating I wanted to have a stream of reflections rushing against a wall.To accomplish this I have built a rolling cylinder together with Mr Ivica Zubak (great guy helping out in the production). The cylinder is decorated with small pieces of glass and the light bounces of a lamp onto the ceiling. Very lo-fi.

Here’s a sneak peak at a mirror I designed and which we cut using nothing but a really fast stream of water. Big thanks to the nice guys at Stockholms Vattenskärning who helped me out.

Igor Zimmermann - Shugo Tokumaru

The first runner up to do an Untitled by project for us is Igor Zimmermann. We are thrilled to get our Untitled by project started but first and foremost Igor Zimmermann’s work. Igor Zimmermann will present a ‘work in progress’ for us and will therefore be a guest editor until his project is finished. Untitled by is something we hold dearly to us here at Filippa K and we are hoping you will too.

Musician- Shugo Tokumaru

Shugo Tokumaru is in my humble opinion a real genius of a musician. So I am overwhelmed with happiness to announce that he has agreed to contribute with some music from his lovely album L.S.T. for the little film we’re making. Check out his records and I am sure you’ll fall just as deeply in love with his amazing music as I did!
