Characterised by emphasis on volume in a triangular silhouette, Pre Collection S09 has Filippa K looking towards a young femininity. The colour palette varies from soft neutral greys and mauves to a warm apricot used in a clean graphic print.
Wide pleated pants, voluminous skirts and puff sleeves are paired with flared denim and sweatshirt materials to create the interesting mix between dressed and casual that Filippa K embodies.

For Pre Collection S09 Filippa K Man has worked with the contrast of combining classic tailored pieces with casual wardrobe staples. A subdued colour range of greys, light blues and blacks is highlighted by single details such as a ruby red button or a two toned fabric.
Wool slacks, cashmere cardigans and strong masculine shoulders in jackets are combined with bomber jackets and washed denim thus ensuring the carefree mentality of the Filippa K man.

I have to admit that Susi is totally right about the age of the “model-kids”. It seems to me that a bit more masculinity of the boy Model would attract more masculine men (0: ! The collection is simple as always, like it.

I loved the MAN collection, because it’s so simple. It’s not at all exaggerated like all the others.
It seems to me to be a boy and girl collection and not for men and women. Models with a little higher age would make it more comfortable to me.
I think it could’ve been a tad more edgy for the men’s collection. i find it a little dull to be honest. a few more colours would’ve been nice, and i missed more of a spring/summer vibe, it doesn’t look very fresh or light. i really liked the light blue cardigans and one of the jackets, so i hope the rest of the collection will be more like that. I loved the trouser fit from fall/winter 08 and i hope you will keep it up. thanks

the male collection is boring as hell. I bought a crimson colored pair of your jeans today and they are amazing. So why not expand on that instead?

Women’s collection is really great! I love that black skirt with the grey shirt. So simple, yet imaginative. I’m not so crazy about the men’s collection though. It looks kind of cheap, and I don’t like the wash of the jeans at all.
