I have a strong need to tell everyone how great the International Herald Tribune is…my friends are tired of me saying it by now. Why is it so great? Because the journalism is wonderful, simple yet elegant with a sense of storytelling that enables you to personally feel like you really ’’are there’’ whether its dramatic world events or local happings.
Jean Seberg
Talking about the IHT reminds me of Jean Seberg (one of my favourite style icons) in Godard’s ’’À Bout de Souffle’’ with Jean-Paul Belmondo. That t-shirt is so cool…I mean this is 1960 and printed t-shirts as fashion hadn’t hit the scene yet.
Right now I can’t get enough of….
I’m the sort of person that can listen to the same record over and over again – and right now these are the ones. Isabelle Geffroy of ZAZ has such a fantastic voice, she sounds like a jazzy modern version of Piaf. The first time I heard her on the radio I just stopped ain my tracks, it’s unusual when that happens, to me, anyway.
