Helsinki
New Concept Store
Filippa K launches a 140-m2 concept store in Kämp Gallery, a unique and bustling shopping district in the heart of Helsinki. The store will carry the full range of womenʼs wear alongside shoes and accessories from Filippa K – known for its distinct Scandinavian style that combines clean modern design and a timeless look, long lasting both in style and quality.
“We have received fantastic response from our Finnish customers and are now defining Finland as a focus market, Helsinki feels like a natural starting point for us to grow from. By establishing a full scale concept store we are enabling the consumer to fully experience the brand in our own environment,” says Jon Abrahamsson, CEO.
Housed in a classic National Romantic building, the new Helsinki location has exceptional ceiling heights and vaults, creating a sophisticated ambiance of style, simplicity and quality. Mixing the classic with the contemporary, the impressive former pharmacy has been carefully updated to a stylish modern Filippa K concept store.
Designed by Albert France-Lanord Architects, the unique architecture expresses the essence of Filippa K design philosophy, a stylish combination of timeless elegance, clean minimalism and contemporary edge. The whitewashed stonewalls and stucco have been juxtaposed with modern pine floors, black stained wooden cashiers and dark taupe linen rugs.
Located in Kämp Gallery on Mikonkattu 3, the new store was launched with a large opening event on October 20th for a select group of guests from the Helsinki fashion, media and music scene. The next day the store opened its doors to the public.
