Filippa K deepens its collaboration with Fotografiska and becomes proud partner of the new exhibition: Fashion! – fashion photography through times.
Fashion and photography has lived side by side for more than 90 years. A joint revolution that, perhaps stronger than anything else, reflects and characterises the spirit of the times.

“Filippa K shares a strong interest in photography, design and fashion with Fotografiska so it felt natural to further deepen our collaboration by becoming a partner to an exhibition that highlights and exalts just fashion photography” – says Eva Boding, Marketing Director Filippa K.
Over 200 photographs, of which a large number are vintage prints, created by 50 world renown photographers, make Fashion! one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of fashion photography in Europe. It is a spectacular odyssey through fashion photography’s visual world. From Man Ray’s experimental compositions from the 1920s, to icons such as Irving Penn and Richard Avedon to Steven Meisel and Peter Lindbergh’s cult of supermodels during the 1990s.
Today’s fashion photography is represented by Steven Klein, Mikael Jansson and Camilla Åkrans – who among other things has photographed Filippa K’s latest campaign, to name a few.
Fashion! – fashion photography through times is exhibited at Fotografiska in Stockholm from the 24th of September, 2010.
