Easter Sunday

I love the mediterranean way of getting together, friends of all ages and all walks of life, with a lot of generous food and plenty of bottles of wine. On Easter Sunday we were invited to the vineyard of Christian Aimbert where the tradition is to grill a whole lamb over a fire, north african style.

The great thing about coming to a beautiful place like Corsica off season is that there’s time. Time for the locals to get together for lazy weekends, long walks or slow dinners full of laughter, friendship and, of course, wine.

May I present Jean-Jo, my ’’brother in law’’ (on the left) a corsican farmer with 500 sheep, he makes the islands best pecorino cheese ’’Valicella’’. Here he is dressed in Filippa K, for those men who think a womens name in the neck label may impeed a certain masculinity check this guy out.

Love from Filippa.
