Work in progress

Igor Zimmermann - the making of a mirror

Here’s a sneak peak at a mirror I designed and which we cut using nothing but a really fast stream of water. Big thanks to the nice guys at Stockholms Vattenskärning who helped me out.

cheers!

Work in progress

Igor Zimmermann - Shugo Tokumaru

The first runner up to do an Untitled by project for us is Igor Zimmermann. We are thrilled to get our Untitled by project started but first and foremost Igor Zimmermann’s work. Igor Zimmermann will present a ‘work in progress’ for us and will therefore be a guest editor until his project is finished. Untitled by is something we hold dearly to us here at Filippa K and we are hoping you will too.

Musician- Shugo Tokumaru

Shugo Tokumaru is in my humble opinion a real genius of a musician. So I am overwhelmed with happiness to announce that he has agreed to contribute with some music from his lovely album L.S.T. for the little film we’re making. Check out his records and I am sure you’ll fall just as deeply in love with his amazing music as I did!

Café George-Leidsegracht 84, Amsterdam

A few of us have been to Amsterdam not too long ago and found our way to the beautiful Café George. So if you find yourself strolling around in Amsterdam in search for a place to sit down, please go to Café George! You get a feeling of stepping into a world, where you can feel at ease with a cup of coffee or just something to eat. It is a perfect mix between french bistro and casual chiqueness.

Fantastic Man

our warmest recommendations

Fantastic Man is the gentleman’s style journal and brainchild of founders Gert Jonkers and Jop van Bennekom. The magazine aims high at being an “anti-fashion” fashion magazine with an intelligent approach to to the modern man and pleasantly delivers with, as the expression goes, flying colours.

Upon our first encounter we instantly knew we both co-existed in the same realm of thought and values. Fantastic Man is, in the same way as Filippa K, about the man in the clothes rather than the clothes themselves and the refreshingly quirky approach to serious journalism is in every way satisfying.

Tonight Filippa K, Fantastic Man and Peres Projects will host an intimate dinner in London to celebrate a new season in art with a following cocktail. We can’t tell you enough how excited we are to join together if just for one night and promise to bring back pictures for you all!
