San Francisco

artistic minimalism and dedication to architecture

Located in the heart of the city at 66 Kearny Street, the new store is the 42nd Filippa K store to open worldwide.

Designed by Aaro Arkitekter along with founder and creative director Filippa Knutsson. Filippa K’s San Francisco location is the first store to be built in a new, revised store concept inspired by the brand’s core values of artistic minimalism and dedication to architecture. Adjacent to Maiden Lane, one of the city’s stylish shopping district areas, the 2,000 square foot space transforms a former bank with lofty ceilings into a relaxing, calm atmosphere that exudes a warm sense of understated style.

“We have been looking at the US market for a long time and are excited to start the US expansion in San Francisco since the city has so many coherent values with those of Filippa K. I have been very involved in the creation of the new concept which very much represents my personal taste in architecture, art and interior design.” says Filippa Knutsson, Creative Director.

Bloom

Paris Correspondence

Paris is still blooming and even if only from the notoriously Parisian balconies, there no question it certainly sheds a ray of light across the otherwise sandy grey city.

Clever solutions

hitting the stores as we speak

o

Seldom has such a clever little solution to basic needs made us so excited as we are over the Three Pack Tee that are hitting the stores as we speak. Three of our best mens t-shirts packaged in a classic fabric bag, frankly, it’s ingenious at it’s best.

La Ville-Lumière

Paris correspondence

o

We have our very own correspondent in the city of lights, Paris (and no, that’s not Paris, Texas). The mystery lady will update you on inspiring things she comes across, be it an exhibition, a place to eat or just one of the little quirks that makes Paris into the city it is.

Be sure to follow the correspondence under Inspired.
